Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme, Université Paris Cité
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme is an initiative by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs aimed at attracting top international students to pursue master's and doctoral degrees at French higher education institutions. Université Paris Cité is actively participating in this programme.
The Eiffel Programme offers financial support to outstanding international students, enabling them to enroll in master's and doctoral programmes in France. The scholarship covers various fields of study, including Science and Technology (Biology and Health, Ecological Transition, Mathematics and Digital Sciences, Engineering Sciences) and Humanities and Social Sciences (History, French Language and Civilization, Law, Political Science, Economics and Management). The scholarship provides a monthly allowance, international transportation, national transportation, insurance, and cultural activities.
Scholarship Value:
- PhD level: monthly allowance of €1,700 (since January 1, 2021).
- Master's level: monthly allowance of €1,181.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: Non-French nationals only.
- Age Limit:
- Master's Level: Candidates must be 25 years old or younger (born after March 31, 1997).
- Doctoral Level: Candidates must be 30 years old or younger (born after March 31, 1992).
- Academic Level:
- Master's Level: Applicants should be seeking admission to a master's programme.
- Doctoral Level: Applicants should be enrolling in the first year of a co-supervised or co-directed doctoral programme.
- Candidates already studying in France are ineligible.
- First-time applicants only; the scholarship cannot be combined with another French government scholarship.
