KTH Royal Institute of Technology Tuition Fee Waiver

SwedenMaster'sEntry ID: SC-30280

The KTH Scholarship is a merit-based tuition fee waiver offered by KTH Royal Institute of Technology for outstanding international fee-paying students pursuing one- or two-year master's programmes. It covers the full tuition fee for the first and second year, provided that the student achieves satisfactory academic results during the first year. The scholarship does not cover living expenses, accommodation, travel, or other costs.

Applicants are evaluated based on academic excellence, including grades, university ranking, relevant experience, and demonstrated drive to contribute to sustainable development. In 2025, approximately 8% of nominated applicants (65 out of 803) received the scholarship. The selection process runs parallel to admissions, using documents submitted via the universityadmissions.se portal.

To apply, students must first apply to a KTH master's programme as their first priority and then submit a separate scholarship application form when available. Results are announced around March following the application deadline.
