The Lund University Global Scholarship is a highly selective, merit-based scholarship primarily for Master's students, with specific Bachelor's programmes also eligible (Development Studies, Mathematics, Physics, and Physical Geography). Each year Lund University provides around 26 million SEK (€2.4 million / $2.4 million) in scholarship grants towards tuition. The scholarships are for international students from outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) with high academic performance and who have selected a Lund University programme as their first-choice university. The scholarship is a tuition fee waiver which can be partial or cover 100% of the tuition fee depending on the programme and the student's origin and academic background. It does not cover living expenses.
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) and required to pay tuition fees.
- Applying in a regular application round to Master's level degree studies, or exceptionally to Bachelor's in Development Studies, Mathematics, Physics, or Physical Geography.
- The Lund University programme is your first choice at universityadmissions.se.
- Strong academic merit and programme fit.
- Special conditions for Music and Fine Arts programmes.
- Must be able to fund living expenses independently (scholarship does not cover living costs).
