Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

United States · New YorkGraduateEntry ID: SC-40039

The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans is a prestigious fellowship program that provides financial support to immigrants and the children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate studies in the United States. Each year, the program selects 30 New Americans who have demonstrated academic excellence, creativity, initiative, and a commitment to making significant contributions to society.

The fellowship provides up to $90,000 in funding over two years to cover tuition, fees, and living expenses. This includes a stipend of up to $25,000 per year and a tuition grant of up to 50% of the tuition cost (up to $20,000 per year). The fellowship is open to individuals pursuing graduate degrees in any field of study, including the arts, sciences, medicine, law, business, public policy, and more.

Fellows are selected based on their accomplishments, potential to contribute to society, and their potential to become leaders in their fields. The program seeks individuals who have demonstrated creativity, originality, and initiative, as well as a commitment to the values of the United States and the potential to make a significant contribution to American society.

Fellows also become part of a lifelong community of New Americans, with access to networking opportunities, mentoring, and a variety of professional and social events. The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans is not only a financial award but also a recognition of the unique contributions that immigrants and the children of immigrants make to the United States.
