Presidential Scholarship Program, Villanova University
The Presidential Scholarship is Villanova University's most prestigious merit-based award. Inspired by St. Augustine—who pursued truth (veritas) through faith, taught leadership through love (caritas), and sought change through community (unitas)—the Presidential Scholars Program aims to recruit, train, and support transformational leaders. The program's goal is to build upon the positive work of the Presidential Scholars who came before them, fostering a new generation of leaders who embody these Augustinian values. The scholarship covers full tuition, room, board, the general fee, and the cost of textbooks for eight consecutive semesters.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be high school seniors applying for first-year admission to Villanova University.
- Demonstrate outstanding academic performance, typically in the top 1-2% of their high school class.
