Reading Collegiate Scholars Transfer Program

The Reading Collegiate Scholars Program (RCSP) at Alvernia University is a transformative initiative established in 2014 to enhance high school graduation and college attendance rates among students in Reading, Pennsylvania. In the 2022-2023 academic year, the program expanded its services to include students residing throughout Berks County. RCSP offers tuition-based scholarships to attend Alvernia University and provides a comprehensive support system to ensure student success.

Scholarship Description:

• Full tuition scholarship for eligible students.
• Mandatory participation in the Bridge Program, a transitional initiative designed to assist incoming first-year scholars in adapting to college life. This program offers academic resources, opportunities to connect with faculty and staff, and activities focused on time management, study skills, and campus orientation.
