Brunel Summer Internship Programme (BSIP)
The Brunel Summer Internship Programme (BSIP) offers eligible students the opportunity to gain eight weeks of paid work experience over their first summer break. This is open to all eligible home/UK first-year undergraduates from any course (excluding those in their foundation year). Students on the programme receive advice and guidance on employment-related matters, including CV and cover letter writing, interview preparation skills, and business etiquette workshops. Once placed, the university provides a tax-free bursary of circa £3,000 to undertake up to 280 hours of work during summer 2026. All internships must be completed in the UK.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be first-year undergraduate students at Brunel University London (excluding those in their foundation year).
- Be home/UK students.
- Meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Registered with DDS and have a disability, dyslexia, long-term health issue, or mental condition.
- Of black/black (other) ethnicity.
- From a low-income household (under £25K).
- A care leaver.
- A young carer.
- Estranged.
- A refugee.
- Live in an area ranked quintile 1 in the government's Index of Multiple Deprivation
