The Summer Public Health Scholars Program (SPHSP) at Columbia University Medical Center is a rigorous 10-week summer program designed to introduce undergraduate students to the field of public health. The program aims to increase interest in and knowledge of public health and biomedical science careers among students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. Eligibility Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or U.S. national
  • Rising juniors and seniors, OR recent college graduates
  • Minimum GPA of 2.7
  • Underrepresented minority, economically disadvantaged, or LGBTQ individuals encouraged to apply
