The Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw Learning Through Research Internships provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage in research projects within the Department of Mathematics. This program aims to enhance research skills, offer hands-on experience in mathematical research, and encourage students to consider postgraduate study and careers in research.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The scheme is open to UK-based students in the penultimate year (year 3 of 4) of their undergraduate degree in mathematics and, also those in the final year of their degree and who intend to undertake a taught master's degree immediately following their undergraduate degree.
  • Strong academic record in mathematics or related fields.
