Peking University Summer Research Program
The PKU International Summer Lab Project provides a first-class platform for PKU professors and international students/researchers in science and engineering disciplines to collaborate on short-term scientific research during the summer at Peking University. It facilitates international academic and scientific exchanges with no coursework or credits earned. Application and tuition fees are exempted. Participants receive an official PKU campus card for access to campus facilities like the canteen and network, with accommodation endeavored but not guaranteed. Admitted students apply for an X2 visa based on the admission notice.
Applicants must first contact a potential PKU professor in science/engineering with a CV and research plan for preliminary review, then complete an online application via the PKU system using code "Science & Research Program," and mail hardcopy materials to the professor for final university review. The program is focused on hands-on lab research under PKU faculty supervision.
