The Rijksakademie in Amsterdam runs one of the world's leading international artist residencies, hosting artists to develop their work over one- or two-year periods. Selected residents receive a stipend of €19,800 (paid monthly), a personal studio, a work budget, and access to technical workshops, advisors, and a network of leading art professionals. The residency is open to visual artists from all countries and disciplines, with visa support and affordable housing arranged for international residents. Applications are made through an annual open call.
