The RIKEN Center for Brain Science (RIKEN CBS) Summer Program offers advanced training in neuroscience for graduate students and young postdocs. Participants can choose Plan A, a two-month laboratory internship from June 9 to August 7, 2026, where they conduct research in a CBS host lab, present a poster, and give a final presentation. Plan B is an intensive five-day lecture course from July 22 to 28, 2026, featuring international faculty, poster sessions, and lab visits. Interns may also join the lecture course. All activities are in English at the RIKEN Wako Campus near Tokyo, fostering networking with researchers and peers worldwide under the theme "Development and Disorders: Genes, Networks, and Behavior Across Life".

Financial support is available upon approval, covering accommodation and round-trip airfare or Shinkansen (reimbursed post-program, with regional max limits). Designated housing is provided (I-House for interns, Hotel Toyoko Inn for lecturers). No registration fee, but participants cover meals.
