The WHO Internship Program

SwitzerlandUndergraduateGraduateEntry ID: PR-70417

The WHO Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in public health at an international level. Interns will work closely with health professionals and WHO staff on projects that address critical global health issues, contributing to WHO’s mission of promoting health, keeping the world safe, and serving the vulnerable. The program is designed to enhance interns' educational experience by providing them with practical skills, exposure to international public health operations, and an understanding of the complexities involved in global health governance.

During their internship, participants may engage in various activities, including research, policy analysis, health systems strengthening, and program development. This experience is invaluable for those looking to build a career in public health, global health, or international development. Interns are not only exposed to the workings of an international organization but also have the chance to make meaningful contributions to health initiatives that can have a real-world impact.
