An 8-week research experience for motivated college students interested in health sciences. Students will conduct research under the guidance of pathology faculty and participate in weekly lectures and problem-based learning exercises. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is resuming the program in 2026 under new co-directors Priti Soin, M.D. and Vihar Patel, M.D. The 2026 program runs June 22 - August 14, 2026, and interns receive a $2,000 stipend upon completion.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student of freshman, sophomore, or junior standing.
- Demonstrates a strong interest and motivation in research or a career in the health sciences.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.85.
