The George W. Jenkins Scholarship is a prestigious award established by Publix Super Markets Charities to honor the legacy of Publix founder George W. Jenkins. It is a need-based, four-year scholarship for incoming first-year Emory College students who demonstrate financial need and a history of overcoming significant adversity, renewable for up to eight regular academic semesters. Open only to U.S. citizens who are residents of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, or Tennessee, graduating from a high school in their home state. The award covers full tuition, fees, on-campus housing, a meal plan, a laptop, a yearly $2,000 stipend, and student health insurance if needed.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Enrolling full-time as an incoming first-year student at Emory College.
