Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at UC Berkeley
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of California, Berkeley provides comprehensive support to talented yet economically disadvantaged students from Sub-Saharan Africa. This program focuses on preparing future leaders who will contribute to the economic and social transformation of their communities. The scholarship covers tuition, living expenses, travel, and other academic costs. In addition, scholars benefit from leadership training, mentorship, and career development support.
Master's degree applicants must first apply to an eligible master's degree program before they can be nominated for the Mastercard Foundations Scholars Program. If a graduate program has multilple admission rounds with staggered deadlines, only those who submit applications in the first round can be considered for the Scholars Program.
