The Douglass-O'Connell Global Internship is a fully-funded, transformative eight-week summer program in Dublin, Ireland, running from June 12 to August 9, 2026 for its 10th-anniversary cohort. Co-sponsored by CIEE, Ireland's Department of Foreign Affairs, and the African American Irish Diaspora Network (AAIDN), the program honors the legacies of Frederick Douglass and Daniel O'Connell by preparing students from diverse backgrounds for future career success.
Eligibility Requirements
- Current undergraduate freshman, sophomore, or junior from an accredited U.S. institution
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident
- Pell Grant-eligible
